Include your macOS version, mail provider, and the exact error shown in the app. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, recovery codes, or private email content.
Adding an account
Open Settings → Accounts and choose Google, Microsoft, or Mail Server. Google and Microsoft accounts use the provider's authorization page. IMAP/SMTP accounts require the server names, ports, security modes, username, and app password supplied by your provider.
Calendar and reminders
TalkApe Mail asks macOS for Calendar or Reminders access only when you enable the corresponding integration. You can review access at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Removing local data
Settings → Accounts → Remove Account deletes that account's cached messages, drafts, attachments, mailboxes, signatures, queued work, and saved credential from this Mac. Provider mail remains unchanged.
AI agents
The complete structured CLI and Agent Skill are available from Settings → Integrations. Only authorize agents you trust, because an authorized agent can read and manage the mail actions you allow it to invoke.
